Hip Hop/Step Team

The team more formally known as, "Tear It Up" performs during numerous events throughout the school year. Our choreography is made up of step and urban hip-hop. We perform at "Newcomers Welcome", half times during basketball games, basketball state championships, pep rallies, Step Competitions, and Bay View Open House.

Who May Join?  Students in grades 9-12

How do I Join?  Tryouts for the year of 2008 - 2009 will be held May 17th and May 27th from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm in the Athletic Wellness Center. Please come dressed in sneakers and comfortable clothing. (It is mandatory that you attend both tryout dates in order to qualify for the team).
No prior experience is needed.

Practices:  Team practices begin in early September until the end of basketball season. We practice 1-2 times per week.
