Bay View/Hendricken Cheerleading
The Varsity Cheerleading squads cheer for the Hendricken  High School  Varsity Basketball  Team and the Football Team.

Who May Join:  Students in grades 10-12.

How Do I Join:  Varsity squad tryouts are in April/May. They consist of three days of practice and then the try-out with judges. Dates and times will also be posted on the morning messages in March.  The cheerleading coach will distribute medical and parent permission forms which must be completed in order for the student to participate.

Practice:  Varsity squads practice in July and August, one day a week (time to be determined) at Bishop Hendricken School in Warwick.  The Basketball squad also practices after school one day a week from 2:40 to 3:40 at Bay View.  Meetings and practices will be held at both schools throughout the school year as needed.

Games:  The Bay View Varsity squad cheers at all specified Hendricken home games and designated away games.

Expenses:  Cheerleading uniforms and shoes cost approximately $300.00
