The Bay View Cheerleading Competition Squad competes against other cheerleading squads from Rhode Island.    

Who May Join: Students in Grades 9 - 12

How Do I Join? Cheerleading Squad tryouts for new members will be held after the start of school in September.  Students attend one or two practice sessions then the try-out session with judges. Medical and parent permission forms will be distributed by the coach.

Practice: Returning members are encouraged, but not required, to attend a summer camp.  During the season practices are usually held on Monday through Friday after school at Bay View from 2:45 - 5:30 P.M. 

Competitions: The Competition squad participates in competitions throughout the months of January, February and March.

Expenses:  Competition uniform is supplied.
