The Varsity and Junior Varsity Basketball teams participate in the RI Interscholastic League, Division I Central, the most competitive division in the state. The team won the D-1 Central Division crown for the 2nd consecutive year. Won the State Championship in 2006. Coach Haynes was selected as D-1 coach of the year. 

Who May Join? Students in grades 9 - 12.

How Do I Join? You must submit athletic forms to the Athletic Director before tryouts. Forms may be obtained in the A. D.’s office. Tryouts begin November 20. 

Practice? During the basketball season practices are held daily  after school between 3 P.M. and 6 P.M. in the new Bay View Athletic Center!

Games? Games are usually held Tuesday and Friday eve-nings, and occasionally on Saturdays.

Expenses? Uniforms are supplied. Practice gear is the re-sponsibility of the athlete.

Coaches? Varsity - Doug Haynes. Assistant & Junior Varsity - Joe Ercolano, Melissa Fullerton.
